Costume Design
I spent my childhood creating costumes out of thrift store finds and bedsheets.
Now, I use that creativity to make custom costumes for many areas of theatre and film.
Theatre
My work has been seen onstage in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, USA as well as Cairo, Egypt. Working for educational institutions from elementary through college, I have designed for musicals, plays, and dance.
Cabaret
Working one on one with clients is my favorite kind of design. I have made costumes for burlesque dancers, drag queens, performance artists, and belly dancers. Each costume is unique, and since my move to Cairo you can be assured that no one will have access to the materials I can find.
Dance
These costumes must be unique, fitting both the dance and the dancer’s body. Made of specialty fabrics that allow for movement, dance costumes can be personalized to each member of the company or created as a cohesive group.
Wigs, Makeup, and Prosthetics
A cheap wig doesn’t have to look bad. Through my work with independent theaters with limited budgets and the Drag Queens in the Gayberhood of Philadelphia, I have learned how to make budget look baller.
I also create and apply minor prosthetics, as seen on the DMZ television show Amin n Partners.
Writing
When I was young, I was a voracious reader. Epic fantasy and comedy were my favorites, and that passion lead me to writing.
SEO COntent creation
Working for a content creation company taught me a lot about the mechanics of rankings. If your page needs to be on the front page of google, I can help. I use specialized programs to find the best keywords for you, and personalize each article and blog post.
I have written for photography and travel blogs, product review sites, and well researched informational articles.
Editing for content and ESL
My most recent foray has been into helping English as a second language writers. If you need to reach an English speaking market, but don’t know if your prose has the right sound I can edit your words to sound perfect to an American or British audience.
